Greetings from Colorado

Another Mountain to Climb

It has been nearly 13 years since I was diagnosed with PD and 2 years since I moved to Colorado and began cycling up some serious mountains. However, Parkinson’s continues to slowly tighten its grip on my body, and I have days when it is a challenge for me just to get dressed or take a walk. Then I must apply the same determination and perseverance that keep me going uphill on my bike. I am fortunate that I am still able to ride and I do it on behalf of all those who would like to but no longer can.

With your support last year (spiritual and/or financial) I was able to climb some amazing Colorado mountains that most people, including me, would have thought beyond my ability. The contributions made on my behalf went to the Davis Phinney Foundation to support their efforts to help people "Live Well with Parkinson's".

Please show your support by contributing a little (or a lot) to this cause. And I will do my very best to complete the entire 513 miles as we Ride the Rockies in June!!!

Please take a moment to watch my video, which received an
Honorable Mention in the 2013 World Parkinson Congress Video Competition!

All the best,

Margaret
